The architecture, although modern is modelled on traditional Tunisian styles. The village is a maze of narrow streets and arches. The hotels that line the beachfront extend to the town of Sousse.

Take a boat trip from the marina aboard the pirate galleons Aziza or Jalila. Setting sail along the coastline you can spot dolphins and enjoy onboard barbeques. Also available are the fascinating glass-bottomed boat tours and fishing excursions.
A ten minute difference separates Port El Kantaoui from the historic city of Sousse. Visit the medina here which hosts a number of colourful shops, also worth visiting are the Great Mosque, the museum and the towering Ribat.
