The Dar Cherait museum is one of the best museums in Tunisia and is housed in a restored museum. Home to various beautiful collections of traditional objects and costumes, the place has exhibits which depict life among the rich and the ordinary in times no bygone. This is a traditional open grate for cooking, a Turkish bath, a library and a room which is filled with imported stained glass kept as the treasures of the museum.
