Dar Lasram in Tunis is a beautiful mansion and a former aristocratic palace, built at the end of the 18th century by Hamouda Lasram, a wealthy land owner and an Ottoman military man.
Designed around the Pacha Street, the site is made of many levels divided into the former common rooms, guest rooms and the Lasram family rooms.
Presently, the historic site is home to the Association de Sauvegarde de la Medina that oversees medina conservation.
Once inside, one can see the amazing tiled rooms and courtyards, plans, photos and medina maps.
