St. Vincent de Paul Church is a Roman Catholic cathedral situated in Tunis. Named in honor of Saint Vincent de Paul, this historic building is also the headquarters of the Archdiocese of Tunis.
Built in a blend of styles like Gothic, Neo-Byzantine and Moorish, this monument construction began in 1893. It opened in 1897 on Christmas Eve, although the cathedral had a temporary wooden bell tower due to shortage of funds. The construciton of the bell tower was completed at a later date.
This beautiful church is worth visiting whilst in Tunis for its interior design and art work.
