The best time to visit Tunisia is in the slightly cooler months from September to June. The peak tourist season, it is also the period of some amazing festivals organized at the old Roman sites. November is excellent for desert excursions.
Events and Entertainment
Tunisia hosts several events, some political, some religious and some cultural. All Islamic festivals are held according to the phases of the moon, the most important being, Ramadan, which extends for around one month and culminates with the festival of Eid al-Fitr.
