Livingstone: Attractions and more...
If you’re an adventure lover, you can head on to the Adventure Centre for a wide range of activities, including river boarding, canoeing, horse riding, water rafting, and tours to the Victoria Falls Bridge which offers a spectacular view to tourists. Bungee jumping at the Bakota Gorge is a favourite among tourists. Safari operators, an Arts & Crafts gallery, a Railway Museum and a Backpackers Lodge are some of the other facilities available at Livingstone.
Local attractions include the Livingstone Museum (housing David Livingstone memorabilia), the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park and the colourful Maramba market. All-you-can-eat buffets are a common treat in Livingstone’s hotels. Given that Livingstone has a sizeable Indian community, expect to find authentic bhajis and samosas at Indian eateries.
