A UNESCO world Heritage site the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park spans over an area of 66 km square. The word Mosi-oa-Tunya has been derived from Kololo or Lozi language. The falls section of the park is home to some of the rarest tress like pod mahogany, ebony, wild date palm, ivory palm etc. it said to have 35 species of raptors. One may come across klipspringers, clawless otters here.
