Things to Do in Hoora: attractions to See in Hoora

Hoora: Attractions and more...

Hoora is a melting pot of Bahraini history and culture. The renowned Beit Al Qur’an (or House of Quran) is an Islamic museum which has a valuable religious collection of rare manuscripts and copies of the Quran. The museum also houses a priceless letter from the Prophet Muhammad, which is well preserved and still contains his seal. It is regarded as a must-visit.

Equally famous as a heritage landmark is the Abu Bakr Siddeeq mosque; it is a good example of the typical Gulf architecture that exists in Manama. La Fontaine Contemporary Arts Centre is also a significant cultural spot.

From culture, you can shift to shopping sprees at the GOSI Complex, which is a popular shopper’s stop at the ever-bustling Exhibitions Avenue. In the evenings, relax in one of the many cafes on the Avenue and sip some strong Arabian coffee for which the region is famous.
