Tourist Guide Juffair
Juffair is a recently developed district in Manama, the capital city of the Kingdom of Bahrain. One of the most elite areas of the capital with its many restaurants and hotels, Juffair was built in 1970 as part of a huge project involving the reclamation of land from the sea and thereby increasing Bahrain’s eastern coastline by 2 km.
Juffair’s weather is the same as the rest of Bahrain hot, humid summers with temperatures rising above 35°C and mild winters with the average temperature dropping to around 17°C. December–March is comparatively cooler and is a nice time to visit.
The exact number of residents in Juffair is undefined; however, the total population of Manama is 155,000. There are many American residents who live here because of its proximity to the American Naval Base and the Diplomatic Area of the city.
