This mosque is the largest in the country and has a capacity of holding almost seven thousand people. This mosque was built in 1984 and is made from Italian marble, teakwood from India, glass from Austria and is carved by the local Bahraini craftspeople. The guided tour begins at the library where women are given a black coat and headscarf to wear.
