On 2004 the city of Manama had the pleasure to give hospitality to the Grand
Prix on a circuit in the desert close to the city. It was the first Formula
1 race in the Middle East.
The climate in Manama is extremely hot and humid from May to September, the
average temperatures are around 40°C but they can also reach easily 45°C.
The hottest months are July and August. From November to March the climate is
rather agreeable; during the day it’s warm and the nights are fresh. The
coldest months are December and January, the average temperature is around 20°C.
