The most important sights are the Lalbagh Fort, the National Assembly Building, the Baitul Mukkaram Mosque and the National Gardens, not to mention the many markets in town which absolutely deserve a visit tool.
Dhaka's most important attraction is Lalbagh Fort in the Old City, an unfinished Fort dating from 1678. In the same area are some interesting mosques, including Hussain Dalan. The National Museum is north of the Old City in the old European area known as Modern City.
