Steam Engine Museum
In the biggest ‘steam engine museum’ all across China, several kinds of ‘steam engines’ have been displayed within a region of merely 10000 sq. meters. These engines date to 1950s. Moreover, they come from various countries. Tourists are permitted to ride on any one of these engines and go on to view a ‘locomotive and wagon factory’, along with ‘rail service HQ’.
Pavilion of Clarity and rest
This ‘Pavilion of Clarity and Rest’, better known as Qingning Gong, was constructed in the year 1625. It is housed in sacrificial rooms and sleeping chambers of the imperial couple.
Phoenix Tower
This 3-storeyed Phoenix Tower was constructed in the year 1627. Behind it, ‘Hall of Exaulted Governments’ was utilized for ‘banquets’.
Zhaoling
Zhaoling means ‘Mausoleum of Light’. It’s popular with people visiting during the day-time. This monument can be called as an excellent piece of ‘amalgamation of Manchurian and Han art’.
