Beijing Capital International Airport is situated at about twenty-km NE from the Beijing city center. It is a prime hub for Air China, China Southern Airlines and Hainan Airlines.

It is the busiest airport in all of China, by means of aircraft movement.

The airport has 3 terminals: Terminal 1 mainly serves domestic flights of Hainan Airlines; Terminal 2 serves a mix of domestic and international flights.

This includes International airlines like Air Astana, Air France, Iran Air, SriLankan Airlines and Saudi Arabian Airlines, while domestic airlines include China Southern Airlines, Shenzen Airlines and China Eastern Airlines.

The newly constructed Terminal 3 serves the remaining load, comprising of both domestic and international flights.

Special luggage services are provided for passengers, which include counters for luggage packing and luggage searching.

The airport has a large shopping market, with several shops selling a variety of authentic Chinese and modern goods, including cosmetics, Chinese tea, tax-free wine and spirit and food.
