The one day Hutong Tour departs at 9:00 am where a Rickshaw will pick you up directly from your hotel, and you will see Beijing in this alternative way.
The first stop is at Chengxian street, the east-west roadway, built about 700 years ago with its structures which reflect the original Chinese customs.
While visiting this street, you seen at Rongbu Tang, a century old crafts family operating from their boutique store.
Then your personal driver will bring you to visit the ancient Drum Tower, where you can climb to the top and enjoy an amazing bird’s eye view of the surroundings.
Walk through Yandai Xiejie famous for its tobacco and pipe craftmen, up to the Silver Ingot Bridge, a narrow channel which join the Qianhai Lake and the Houhai Lake.
Then you will get to see the Da Jinsi Hutong Tao which still preserved today as it was when constructed.
After Lunch of typical local cuisine, a visit to the important formers residences, the first one is Soong Ching Ling residence, who was once a princess, where tourists can admire the marvellous garden of this mansion.
The second one is the mansion of Mr.Mei Lanfang worldwide famous for its talent in playing Drama, and founder of one of the three greatest acting methods created by Shakespeare Stanislavsky and Mei Lanfang.
At the end of the day tourists will be returned to their hotel.
