Tourist Guide Harbin:

Harbin lies in north-east China and is the capital of the Heilongjiang Province. It is the tenth largest city in the country and is located on the southern bank of the Songhua River.

The local culture in this place is a blend of the Han culture, Jewish culture, Russian culture and Manchu culture. The mixture of these cultures has affected the language, customs, food and local architectural style.

As per the 2007 census, the population of the urban region was 4.754 million and of the sub-provincial city was 9.873 million.

The city has a brief cool summer with an average temperature of 20.8 degrees Celsius and a long cold winter during which the temperature can plummet to -14.2 degrees Celsius.

I think Harbin is a good travelling city with beautiful scenery all seasons, especially in winter. Although the climate in winter is a little cold, the snow scenery is really wonderful. You can apperciate the exhibition about products made by snow or ice, which is a magic experience
