Tourist Guide Kashi
Kashi is located on the river Kashgar in Xinjiang Uygur, an autonomous Region in China.
This is an oasis city and is the capital of the fertile Kashi district.
It is bifurcated into two parts – New City also called as Yangi Shahr and Old City called as Kuhna Shahr.
The population of Kashi was 0.189 million as per the 2000 census. A large part of the population here are Muslims and Uigur.
The mean temperature of this place varies from -5.6 degrees Celsius to 25.7 degrees Celsius. The monthly precipitation alters from 1.2 mm to 11.4 mm.
