Xinglong Mountain
About 56 Kms towards the south-east of Lanzhou, the Xinglong Mountain can be reached. This mountain is popular since the past as the coffin of Genghis Khan of Yuan Dynasty was once buried here. In between two peaks, there is a stream above which the Yunlong arch bridge can be seen, which is remarkable.
White Pagoda Park
White Pagoda Park is a small and enticing location from where one can view the Yellow River meandering in Lanzhou from the top. At the top of this park is located the white pagoda of Yuan Dynasty.
Five Spring Park
In the southern side of Lanzhou is the Five Spring Park which is at the north foot of Gaolan Mountain. Here, there is a huge Buddhist temple at the center. Overall, it is a beautiful venue to visit in an afternoon. This place is particularly famous for springs on the hillside. This park is usually bustling with activities and tourists.
Zhongshan Iron Bridge
The Zhongshan Iron Bridge is the oldest bridge on the Yellow River that was first constructed in 1372 and later re-constructed in 1909. In 1954, 5 steel archways were used to reinforce the bridge. It is situated at the foot of the White Pagoda Park at the middle part of Riverside Road.
