Tourist Guide Macau Region

Macau is situated just south of Guangdong province on the coast of south China.

Macau is made up of the Macau Peninsula and 2 small isles Taipa and Coloane. Macau is an autonomous region in China, and the city of Macau is the  headquarters.

As per the 2007 census, the population of this place was 0.52 million. It has subtropical climate with high humidity. The warmest month is July while the coolest month is January.

As the Portuguese inhabited Macau for about 330 years in the past, the present culture is a mix of the Western and the Oriental. It is a unique and hybrid urban culture.
