Xintiandi is a popular pedestrian area where you will find a large crowd of young people.
There are several restaurants, clubs, traditional Shanghai style residential quarters, museums, shopping malls and cinemas.
The cafes and restaurants in Xintiandi have both indoor and outdoor seating.
The area is completly pedistrianised. This makes it an trendy walking area with open air cafes and bars.
At night lights up and has a romantic ambience.
The prices in Xintiandi acan be high as it is an area mostly visited by an elite crowd who can afford to spend in Euros or Pounds.
It is the second most expensive tourist attraction in Shanghai so be sure to carry some extra cash if you plan to shop, eat and have a good time here.
