Situated in Xiangshan Road, Shanghai Museum of Sun Yat-Sen’s Former Residence has won deep reverence and admiration from its visitors and tourists when it was opened to the public in 1988.

Sun Yat-sen was the great forerunner of the Chinese democratic revolution, the respected contributor to the modern Chinese history and the founder of republic of China. It was here in his former residence that Mr. Sun Yat-sen accomplished his masterpieces of Doctrines of Sun Wen and plans of development of China. The magnificent villa would offer a feast to the eyes of the visitors.  It is divided into the contemporary and main houses all of which are neighbored together. 

While visiting this magnificent place of interest, you can see the statue of Dr. Sun Yat-Sen outside the hpuse, original articles, several personal pictures hung on the walls, reading rooms, bedrooms, veranda as well as a reception room.
