Shanghai Ocean Aquariums major attraction is its underwater tunnel, the longest in the world at 155 meters.
It is home to the Orinda goldfish named as Bruce, after Bruce Lee.
It is considered to be Asia’s biggest, newest and best aquarium.
It opened in Pudong, in 2002. Its modern facilities boasts 28 themed exhibition areas for more than 10,000 sea creatures from all parts of the world including Sharks, Jellyfish, turtles, sea otters, lionfish, Yangzi sturgeon and more. The museum is divided into two levels.
The Shanghai Ocean Aquarium is one of the most popular tourist attractions in China and is a perfect destination to spend some time with family while exploring the aquatic world.
