The Bund Art Museum is a situated in Shanghai, China and is a home of the Shanghai Biennial, featuring China’s contemporary art. The museum is located in the suburbs, away from the crowd.
The building hosting the museum was once the tallest building in Asia.
In addition to the fascinating relics and old photos of life along the Bund, it offers a spectacular view of the waterfront from the top floor.
The museum is divided into several sections.
The exhibits incluce a sculpture of a ship, and a gas lamp recalling the shipping business and that Shanghai was the first city in China to be illuminated.
Other section describes the economic reform and the opening up of policies started in 1988.
