The Nanjing Donglu is a major shopping street and also home to the Peace Hotel. This street attracts a number of tourists for its many attractions, one of which are a line of shops. It is also known as the busiest shopping streets in the world. Apart from this, it attracts more than one million visitors per day. This street is famous during many festivals like the Chinese New Year, the New Year's Eve and on Christmas when all the people, locals and tourists alike celebrate these holidays here.
