Tourist Guide Shenzhen
Shenzhen is a city in the Guangdong Province of China, located at the fringes of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. The city is one of the fastest growing cities in China with a population of around nine million residents. Shenzhen is also among the largest cities in the biggest manufacturing base of the world, the Pearl River Delta region.
The climate of Shenzhen is typically subtropical. It welcomes all the four seasons with equal aplomb. Summers can be scorching hot, while winters are moderate. Summer and autumn witness to regular cyclones.
Shenzhen has been an economically active city since the seventies. The city is the busiest port in the country, with great volumes in import and export business. Shenzhen is a major manufacturing centre in China and has its own stock exchange, the Shenzhen Stock Exchange.
