The City Wall of Xian is the most significant attraction here and is the only city wall which is in perfect form. The Forest of Stele features the most ancient collection of steles from various past dynasties of China. The museum has a significant historic value which is brought to the fore through the various exhibitions held here.
Regarded as the symbol of Xian, the Big Wild Goose Pagoda is worth a visit. Also, the Little Wild Goose Pagoda, located at Jianfu Temple, is a popular site in the city.
The Museum of Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses is a landmark destination which features life-size effigies of the warriors and horses. This place was listed as a world cultural heritage by UNESCO in the eighties.
Displaying an elegant blend of Chinese and Islamic architectural styles, the Grand Mosque can accommodate as many as one thousand devotees at a time. The Muslim Street near the mosque is also a place frequented by the tourists.
