Hong Kong is a special administrative region located in the south of China.
As stated in the Hong Kong Basic Law, both English and Chinese are the official languages.
I must admit we were fortunate to stay with friends, however this only enhanced a very enjoyable holiday. The flight (Emirates A380) set us off on a great start, and it just got better. The transportation was cheap, whether by tram or MTR (which is superb. There was no hint of us being unsafe, even though we did manage to lose ourselves in the 'old quarter' a couple of times. If you really to eat 'McDonalds' then that is available but the local Chinese food leaves our 'takeaway chinese' in the shade. Be a bit adventurous and enjoy it - you won't regret it, and there is lots to do.

Hong Kong is a nice city, with disney land on it, i want the president to build another city park in Hong Kong. and also a place with a beautiful view like Victoria Peak, Window of the world. It's good. Keep being a good city and a good place. Maintain the way you control your city. it's nice. Love to Hongkong!

A very friendly and safe place; especially for a stopover either to near east (Korea, Japan, China), SE Asia (eg Malaysia) or Down Under.
Lots of reasonable places to eat. Accommodation is expensive but there is a wide range of places to go. People are generally friendly and helpful.

One of the greatest cities I have ever visit. Perfect for shopping & entertainment. The transportation system is amazing - very easy & fast way to travel is the metro. I recommend the Upper House hotel - the best one I ever stayed it!

Awesome city. Great mix of cultures. Fabulous buildings and beautiful nature! Check in at Chunking Mansion and explore the city with the public transport. An Octopus card will be very useful during your trip!!

Hong Kong is a tourist town and trust me you have hell lot of things to see! Some hotels are really awesome if you are willing to pay the price! Visit Macau too, which is really close if you get a chance!

One of the best means of conveyance bus-metro-ferry etc nothing to beat this in whole world, beautifully planned and most humble people

I love hong kong, have been there for almost 20 times... the food is excellent and winter is the best time to visit.
