Ranganatha Temple is the most well known temple in Nellore and stands on the southern bank of River Pennar. Pilgrimage and tourists from all parts of the world come to Nellore to visit temples, and mainly, the Ranganatha Temple. This temple was built in the Chola period. The architectural sculptures of God and Goddesses are a must see over this temple.
