Pennar River is situated in Nellore and is the most important river in Nellore. The River is a boon to the eastern half of the taluks of Nellore city along with the Kovur city. The Pennar River flows for almost 112 kilometers in the district. The river welcomes enthusiasts for swimming and such water sports. There are also lots of religious activities at the Pennar River during any ceremony of the locals or other visitors.
