The Old Warangal is a nice place to get a feel of old indian towns. The newer part of Warangal, which is Hanamkonda is very much like any other B cities in India.

Warangal is the best city in Aandhra Pradesh which is very safe and secure from cyclones and natural calamities. If leaders of the state concentrate on development this city it becomes best historical city in India.

Vanavigyan Kendra
Vanavigyan Kendra is located on ‘Hunter Road’ in between Warangal and Hanamakonda. As the name suggests, it deals with plants found in forests. Warangal is a home to loads of trees, shrubs, and creepers. All these are analyzed at Vanavigyan Kendra.
Laknavaram Lake
This lake is located at a distance of around 90 Kilometers from Warangal. It’s the perfect spot for youngsters who look for privacy in forests. The specialty of Laknavaram Lake lies in presence of ‘hanging bridges’ which connect 3 islands. This lake has been surrounded by ‘green ... More hills’ on all sides.
Pakhal Lake
This lake is amongst the man-made lakes built in the year 1213 by Ganapathideva, the ‘Kakatiya King’, by having harnessed a petite tributary of Krishna River. Its area is of 30 sq. Km; and it lies at a distance of 50 Kilometers from Warangal.
