Andhra Pradesh, the fourth largest state in India is a famous tourist attraction for pilgrims, its wealth of temples, culture and heritage other than the exotic beaches. The best time to visit Andhra Pradesh is the winter months from October to February, when the climate is at its best. Many can visit this state at the time of the festivals, in the months of January and February, when the Visakha Utsav and the Deccan Festival is held. In January, the festival of Samkranti is held celebrating the harvest of the season. Businessmen visit the state in January and February, when these two months are crucial for catching the industrial exhibition. Tourists wanting to visit this state are recommended to avoid the monsoon months, from July to October. Also, from October to November, the Andhra coast is more prone to cyclonic disturbances.
