Introduction:

The Baspa River is a crucial tributary of the river Satluj during its upper courses.

Attractions and things to do

The origin of the river Baspa is the Baspa Hills after which many small channels join the river Baspa and empty the snow melted waters in it.

The Baspa river mixes with the river Satluj in the Kinnaur district from left bank close to Karcham.

The Sangla valley that stretches for 95 kilometers is watered by the Baspa river. Hence, this valley is also called as the Baspa valley.
