Jammu and Kashmir, as the northern most state of India, is located by the Himalayan mountains.
Jammu and Kashmir is the 6th largest (in area) and one of the most scenic states of the country, with varied climatic conditions. It has a population of over 10 million.
Part of this mountainous state, consisting of 3 main hubs: Jammu, Kashmir & Ladhak, and has been a frequent basis for war between India & Pakistan as a disputed region; with some people of the state demanding for being an independent state all together. Each of these three hubs are unique in their own ways with enough to do to keep a traveller busy, ranging from breath-taking landscapes, through to beautiful and historically significant temples.
