Attractions and things to do

There is a southern tropical deciduous forest which is famous for the leopards and deer.

This park is open for visitors from 5 am to 7 pm..

The closest railway station is Ramtek, from where a bus can be boarded to travel 35 kilometers to reach this park.

The main intention of starting a tiger project in this park is to confirm a safe breeding region for the tigers to increase their number quietly.

In the summer, although the pools dry up, there is sufficient supply for the wild animals to survive. It has been observed that there are 55 young tigers, 39 species of other animals and 250 species of birds in this park.

The moist deciduous forests and the dry deciduous tropical teak are quite capable of offering shelter for all the creatures that have made this park their habitat.
