Itanagar is the capital city of Arunachal Pradesh since 20th April 1974; also known as ‘mini India’ it is snuggled upon flat low hills.
Many monuments including that of an old palace swank its magnificent past to tourists from all around. Today it is divided into two parts both 10kms from each other with the older one identified as Naharlagun.
Akashiganga is situated in the north eastern state of Arunachal Pradesh. Akashiganga is one of the most noteworthy pilgrimages and is alleged to be linked with the legend of Sati (the companion of Lord Shankar).
This place provides a glorious view of the Brahmaputra shimmering far below.
Situated at an altitude of 300m from the sea level, Along is a small town with beautiful villages idyllic to spend scorching summer seasons. Jersey Cross Breeding Farm at Kamake 25km away from Along and Mithun are the main attractions one can visit when at Along.
Again, Pashighat is of the oldest hill stations of Arunachal Pradesh which was established in 1911.
Also known as the ‘gateway of the state of Arunachal pradesh’, its name is derived from ‘pasis’ a tribe of the area. With is spectacular hillside and long green river valleys inhabited by a variety of tribes, this town is a visitors delight.
