Known for its hilly and grassy countryside, Dispur is free from pollution and kind to nature, with the city being overrun during its busy season in the January to July months.
With the Eastern Himalaya Mountains off at the outmost skirts of the country and the Naga Ranges bordering on the East, the city has a lot to offer to nature enthusiasts with the Himalayan Mountains and the Naga Ranges within close reach, along with attractions as the Brahmaputra River which flows directly through Assam as a whole and Kaziranga National Park, which showcases India’s own one-horned Rhinoceros.
