Visitor Activities
Observation of wildlife, inclusive of birding is major visitor activity around as well as in Kaziranga National Park. ‘Guided Tours’ have been made available by jeep or elephant. It should be noted that hiking has not been permitted; just to avert potential conflicts between animals and humans. ‘Observation towers’ are located at Mihimukh, Sohola, Foliamari, Harmoti to facilitate wildlife viewing. Bagori range has an ‘interpretation center’ set up for helping visitors to learn more regarding the park.

Transport
Buses that have been owned by ASTC, i.e. Assam State Transport Corporation operate at this place. Private agencies operate amongst Upper Assam, Tezpur, and Guwahati. They halt at Kaziranga’s main gate, i.e. on National Highway number 37 at Kohora.
