Tourist Guide Bagaha
Bagaha is located on the banks of Gandak River and forms the municipality for Paschim Champaran district in Bihar.
Bagaha is famous for its beautiful landscape and historical sites. There are wildlife sanctuaries near this place. And the forest is full of subtropical trees and wild animals that include Royal Bengal tiger, bear, python and many more. There is a barrage on the Gandak River that acts as a border between Nepal and India. Near to Bagaha there is one legendary place that has some stories related to Hindu mythology.
The population of this place comes to 91,383 according to 2001 census that composes 53 percent of males and 47 percent of females. Due to its strategic location this place enjoys good farming land producing crops such as wheat, paddy and sugarcane.
The climate of this place is hot during summers but pleasant during the months of March and April.
