Raja Vishal ka Garh
Raja Vishal ka Garh is a huge mound that has a circumference of one kilometer, walls about two meters high along with a 43 meters wide moat surrounding them. It is believed that this is an ancient parliament house where seven hundred representatives of the federal assembly garnered everyday to discuss problems.
Abhishek Pushkarn
The Abhishek Pushkarn or the Coronation Tank consists of water that was considered as sacred in the past. The elected representatives of Vaishali were inuncted here before being sworn in. Close to this place one can find the Lichchavi Stupa. The sacred ashes of Lord Buddha were filled in a stone casket and enshrined here.
Budha Stupa
The outer part of the Budha Stupa-I which is currently in a damaged condition has a plain surface. Here, one eighth of the sacred ashes of Lord Buddha are enclosed in a stone casket. In 1958, during the excavation of the site of Budha Stupa-II, another casket that contained the ashes of Lord Buddha was discovered at the site.
