A city that never sleeps

Bombay is a city that never sleeps. Nightlife is a major part of the entertainment options in this vibrant city. You can choose to dine on authentic Indian cuisine prepared out of steamed vegetables and tantalizing spices, or visit any number of first class restaurants, from Chinese to Italian.
Discos, pubs, bars, clubs and other nightlife spots are endless offering enough variety to satisfy even the most discerning visitors. South Mumbai and Colaba used to be the centre of the city's nightlife, but these days competing bars and lounges have started proliferating in the suburbs.
The most popular drinks are beer and whisky. Imported wine is comparatively expensive and often of indifferent quality, although Indian wine is now better made and more widely available than ever before. Major 5-star hotels have licensing hours extending to enable them to sell alcohol until 0030. Larger international hotels have a nightclub on the premises as well.
