Gurudwara Nabha Sahib
Gurudwara Nabha Sahib is a magnificent shrine situated 15 kilometers from Chandigarh. Every year on 21-22 September a huge fair called Jor Mela is held here in the memory of Guru Gobind Singh, Guru Tegh Bahadur, Banda Bahadur and Faqir Dargahi Shah. Faqir Dargahi Shah was a disciple of Guru Tegh Bahadur.
Gurudwara Puddha Sahib
Almost one kilometer from Zirakpur in the village of Singhpura, there is a popular Sikh Gurudwara situated in Gobindgarh Sahib called as the Gurudwara Puddha Sahib. Every Sunday, there is a great gathering here. There are two high spiritual leaders linked with this sacred shrine called as Baba singh jee and Baba Ram Singh Je. This gurudwara consists of Darbar Sahib, Sarovar Sahib, Langar Hall, Yaad gaar Peer Buddhu Shah, Darshani Deodi and Rahaishi Rooms.
ChattBir Zoo
Close to Zirakpur is a Chatt village where the ChattBir Zoo or Mahendra Chaudhary Zoological Park is situated. This zoo boasts of the Royal Bengal Tiger. The highlight of this zoo is the Lion Safari. This zoo is open throughout the year except on Mondays and national holidays. There are hundreds of reptiles, birds and mammals in this zoo. Photography is permitted in this zoo.
