Hasdeo Barrage Dam
This dam is one of the best sources of water for people of Dipka. Water is supplied from this dam to NTPC plant. Hasdeo Barrage Dam lies in an area called ‘Old Pragathi Nagar’, i.e. BHEL Residence. The ambience is also quite good. It is, in fact, a good place to hang out during weekends. However, one should not come over here during the rainy season; as excess of water is let off. In such cases, there are chances of a fatal accident. So, one needs to be extremely careful during such critical times; if ever he/she gets trapped.
