Gobranawapara is a city and urban area of the Raipur district in the state of Chhattisgarh in India. The district capital is Raipur. The district headquarter of Gobranawapara is Raipur.
According to the population surveys in 2001 of India, Gobranawapara has a population of 25,604 people. The male and female populations are the same. 50% of the total population is male and remaining 50% are females. The average literacy rate of Gobranawapara is 66%, greater than its national literacy rate of 59.5%. The literacy rate of females is less and account for only 56%. The male literacy rate is around 75%. The unfortunate thing is that out of the total population, 15% are under the age of 6. The languages spoken in Gobranawapara are Hindi and Chhattisgarhi. The climate in Gobranawapara is similar to any other Indian city. Hot and humid condition is the main feature of the summer season and winters are extremely cold.
