Chitrakot Waterfalls
Towards the west of Jagdalpur, at a distance of 38 kilometers one can find the Chitrakot waterfall which is a magnificent waterfall on the river Indravati. This waterfall is regarded as a miniature version of the world famous Niagara Falls. It has a height of approximately 100 feet and is shaped like a horse shoe. The tourists are enticed by the rainbow colors of the falls.
Handicrafts
In Kumharapara, Jagdalpur there are several shops where exotic handicrafts that have been created by local Bastar tribals are sold. These handicrafts are of different types like wrought iron items, bell metal items, terracotta, bamboo crafts, wooden crafts and cotton fabrics (Kosa sari etc.)
Lakes
Within the periphery of Jagdalpur, there are two lakes called as Dalpat Sagar and Ganga Munda.
Anthropological Museum
In the region called Dharampura exists the Anthropological Museum which is located in the office of the Anthropological Survey of India. The tourists who visit this museum get a window view of the life style of the several tribal people in Bastar.
Danteshwari Temple
The Danteshwari Temple is dedicated to Goddess Danteshwari and this ancient temple was constructed by the kings of Bastar. This temple is adjacent to Bastar palace and close to Gole Bazar. Hindus as well as tribals worship this place.
