Museum of Christian Art major theme is of Indian objects displayed, mostly of Hindu contribution to the Christian Art. This is the unique feature of this museum which is situated in Goa. This museum showcases the wealth found in most of the churches built in the city by the Portuguese and donations made by private families. The central theme of the museum is the selection of objects other than their antiquity. The museum displays include works of wood, ivory images, textiles, silver, gold, paintings and many more items. There are also paintings worth of seeing on canvas or on wood of Baptism of Christ, different lives of saints and many more.
This museum is home to many galleries that exhibit interesting objects like contemporary art gallery, furniture gallery, numismatics gallery, cultural anthropology gallery, the freedom struggle gallery of Goa and more.
