Molem National Park is amidst the Bhagwan Mahaveer Sanctuary in Goa. A tourist can take a tour of the sanctuary, experiencing a remarkable time. Here, one can see herds of deer and Indian bison running, clusters of monkeys, Malaysian giant squirrels, cobras, pythons and black panthers, all of which are a common sight.
Other than that, many can see tigers and elephants in their natural adobe. The excursion tours are made on jeeps that are provided by the forest department of Goa. It is always best to visit this park either on early mornings or late evenings to avoid the heat and the rush of people. Nearby attractions include the Dudhsagar waterfalls, the 13th century Mahadev temple and Surla. Its an amazing day out!
