Goa is the iconic Indian destination and these days it really isn’t just for hippies! In fact it is one of the most-visited regions worldwide for lovers and honeymooners.
To start with, people are drawn here by the seemingly endless stretches of coastline laced with fine beaches ideal for long walks. For those who’s tastes are a little more upbeat there is a great variety of water sports available all year round.
Of course nobody can leave Goa or India without exploring the rich tapestry of belief to be found expressed in Temples, Mosques, Churches, statues, carvings and little monuments of every kind. The spiritual is always present here and seems to hold a curious draw for those in love.
Food is another great pleasure to be enjoyed together. Go for Goan specialties like fish in coconut sauces.
