The Saturday night gathering when started in 1999 was a low key affair with a motley group of westerners turning up with their beers and guitars for a night of gossip and musical extravaganza. However a German citizen named Ingo separated from this group and started his own night market at Arpora and permitted people to set up shops after paying him some premium. Now the market has acquired gigantic proportion and carnival atmosphere prevails around the stalls (hundreds of them). The elders and the men drink beer, meet friends and enjoy while the ladies shop, gossip and the children enjoy the festive revelry with full gusto. www.goatravelmasti.com
