Bogmalo beach lies at a distance of 5.6 miles from ‘Vasco’. It’s quite risky as underwater currents are present. This is the reason behind it being monitored by ‘lifeguards’. As such, one shouldn’t visit this beach alone.

Vasco’s population loves music and fun. Hence, it’s a fact that Diamond Orchestra, well-known musical group of Goa hails from this place. This town has also been a home to numerous English bands such as Kollectiv Soul, Heaven’s Touch, Lynx, etc. The other thing for which Vasco is famous is ‘vasco saptah fair’, that goes on to draw loads of tourists and traders to Vasco. This city has been connected to the other places via road, sea, road, and rail. As such, it enjoys the pride to being the sole city to be connected via every means of transport. This city holds the reputation of being an abode of toddy tapers of Goa, i.e. Vialli. It has a world record to its credit for having stayed in coconut tree; that too, for around 2 years.
