Girnar

The mountain, Girnar contains 5 principal peaks. There are around 10, 000 steps. Gorakhnath, the 3rd peak, which is at the elevation of 1116 meters from sea level is the ‘highest’ one. The region of hills approximately consists of 10 Km. One can ascend the hills through a stepaway that has been built. Peak of ‘Ambaji’, at a height of 1010 meters; has been known for ‘Ambaji’s temple’. ‘Kamandal Kund’ diverts between the temples comprising of Dattatreya and Gorakhnath. ‘Dattatreya temple’ is located on the top-most part of peak. The way to it is the toughest one.

Sakkarbaug Zoo

Sakkarbaug Zoo is the most ancient zoo within Gujarat. Moreover, it’s a home to well-known leopards, tigers, and Gir lions. It was put in to practice in the year 1863 by Nawab; with the objective of saving ‘Asiatic lion’ from getting extinct. Jackal, bears, leopards, tigers, birds, snakes, and wild ass are found here as well.
